Honestly, I didn't even think about "Friday, the 13th" until just now. Another typical day.

On the 13th, I was in my car about to exit a store parking lot, when a truck & trailer collided with a car on the street nearby.

So I headed for a different exit, but while doing so, a careless old geezer pulled out in front of me (I had the right-of-way, 100% certainty), and I hit my brakes hard -- letting him keep going.

No mishaps for me, but those things were a little too close for comfort.

Personally, I don't believe that Friday the 13th holds any mystical power, or is inherently unlucky. I do, however, feel it is symbolically significant as a date of remembrance for the importance of keeping church and state separate. (the way King Philip exploited his influence with the Pope to advance his personal ambitions)

So, each Friday 13th, I give thanks we are wise enough to avoid that particular pitfall.

It was good.. I wanted to watch FRIDAY THE 13th BUT I DIDNT :( (I have the first 1981 release on VHS)

I just look at Friday the 13th as just another day on the calendar. No different from Wednesday the 21st or Saturday the 31st.
