Dr. Rick is a fictional character appearing in recent commercials for Progressive Insurance. He is a self-help coach who helps new homeowners keep from "turning into their parents".

Initially, Arnold Worldwide created a series of advertisements that revolved around "parentamorphosis", a portmanteau of "parent" and "metamorphosis". The advertising firm created Dr. Rick for a 2017 "parentamorphosis" advertisement where he was identified as "Rick". The campaign soon evolved to feature Dr. Rick as its central character. As of this writing, there have been six commercials for Progressive featuring Dr. Rick.
