My back has been in pain since Monday...if it hurts still by Sunday...should I go to the hospital?

oh good god, the world is full of back issues, one does not run to the hospital for a sore back, they will kick you out. I've had back issues since I was 18 and now 83, never went to the hospital for a back problem.... hip yes and got a botched hip replacement surgery.

Learn to work on your own back issue Cleveland, there is tons of info on the net Let dr. Google help you with some ways to go.

Take a couple ibuprofen every 5-6 hrs with food in your stomach, rest, get good sleep. and it can do some healing..Hospital trips are for real emergencies, too many abuse this issue.

BUT if you experienced a real big issue that is a different story.

Why don't you be more specific? Have you injured your back, or is this just a general "aches and pains" type thing?

Have you any history with this kind of back pain, or is it all brand new?

Where does it hurt, specifically? Does the pain descend down lower as you are reading certain posters? (PITA?)

Seriously???? ER is for heart attacks/stroke, etc. Just rest it and if it still bothers you go to a doctor. I have a herniated disc which acts up here and there. If I went to the ER every-time my back hurt for a week I'd never leave the ER and I would be bankrupt from medical bills.

Well...

My back feels better. I just decided to do nothing this weekend...I probably just twisted something...
