I suppose that is fine for someone who likes the show. I do not.

That's the problem with these marathon/binge lengths. When you don't like the show.

I don't watch Friends, for example, so that takes Nick at Nite off my radar, totally.

I agree with Stevea Reguarding the Nick at Nite comment.

Reguarding Antenna TV The schedule looks fine BUT Sunday’s are really strange. It’s almost like they don’t know what to air there. Perhaps they can do like Nick at Nite did and call it “Make Your Own Sunday” where viewers can vote what to watch. Or like TVLand did “Sunday Best”. Airring the Best episodes of one show a different show ever week. Or Fandemonim Sunday’s. Or even have Character of the Week or month.

What are the Special stunts do they have for the 2nd Quarter?

I love how Antenna TV has "The Partridge Family" on for 2 hours each Saturday at 11:00 am and Me-TV has "The Brady Bunch" on for 2 hours each Sunday at noon. That makes for a nice weekend break during the lunch hours. However, I still believe "The Partridge Family" should be on every weekday as well sometime between 10 am and 2 pm. So somebody will have to go. While they try to figure it out, CHCH will have the series back on next month in the afternoons along with "Gilligan's Island". That's a station that knows what they're doing.

It's almost looking like what Laff does. The ratings numbers that came out for Antenna a few months ago were surprisingly low. It wouldn't surprise if they shifted emphasis to Rewind and their newer shows.

I like Barney Miller, but I can't watch the first two seasons. It started to get better around season 3 after they ditched Mrs. Miller, Wentworth and Chano (I didn't like him for some reason). Also at that point, Wojo character became a little less annoying. I think it got even better after Fish departed. His constant complaining about his age, health and Bernice was getting tiresome.

How do you know CHCH programming so far in advance? I have never seen it much more than 2 weeks once it shows up in local listings?

They didn't ditch Wentworth or Chano. Linda Lavin left to do Alice. If it hadn't been for Alice she probably would have stayed another year or two.

Likewise, Gregory Sierra wanted his own series and left BM on his own. He finally got a series from the BM producers a couple of years later (A.E.S. Hudson Street). It didn't last.

Barney Miller's third season is the best. In the original run I may have seen it a couple of times, but didn't start watching it regularly until the third season. The sixth and seventh seasons are my next favorites. You may have given up too soon.

On the official CHCH website, there is an advertising section where you can download the CHCH Media Kit (https://www.chch.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/CHCH-Media-Kit-Winter-Spring-2022-v7-1.pdf) that comes out about every 3 or 4 months and gives you the updated schedules for both Primetime (which is normally awful!) and the Retro Daytime hours (which is what I watch). The next one will be displayed in June right after the upfronts and it will have the new fall schedule on it. If you're willing to wait, I can tell you what will be on it right after it is announced.

Quite often, the early episodes of a show are not so good, but it gets better once the writers tweak a few things and make some cast or character adjustments.

Now that I think about it most of the shows I like was just looking at random episodes. The only show that I can think of that I watched for the first time from episode 1 is Brooklyn Nine Nine

Best part of this schedule is two hours of Wings in primetime Sunday nights. It will be on against new episodes of Weakest Link and S.W.A.T., but not for long as the network TV season is almost over.

I sure thought I had seen 1p as the ending time advertised on the lousy Becker marathon next Sunday. It is actually 1a, 17 straight hours of Becker from 8AM-1AM. That means no Wings 2 hour block in primetime. Antenna TV, :yousuck:!!

Good grief! Becker already got a Sunday marathon not long ago. Meanwhile the far superior Benson and Bachelor Father (counting their original stints as well) still have never gotten one marathon on Antenna TV. Supporting cast of Becker sucks compared to Cheers, especially Linda who I couldn't stand even back when I watched it more often.
