Ever since the first time I saw this show, (which was when it first came out) Helen Hunt has been my absolute favorite actress! However, up until that point, I did not know who she was. I think it was not until after this series became a hit that her name became a household word. It was during this show's run that she starred in movie after movie. However even before that, she had played various bit parts in various movies and series. I had, in fact seen her in such shows as "The Facts of Life" and "Gimme a Break!" as a one-time character that would disappear as quickly as she came. However, until I read about it, I did not realize that it was the same actress that would later star in "Mad About You". In those two shows, I did not even know that it was the same actress who appeared in one show who also appeared in the other. It will take another paragraph for me to explain something else that I did not realize that she was in.
Back in 1986, there was a movie called "Peggy Sue Got Married". It was already 1987 when I saw it at a dollar movie theater. I enjoyed it. Because the pandemic is still going strong and because I am only working part-time at the moment, I have to withstand a lot of boredom. One thing that I do to kill some of the time is watch old movies and TV shows on services like Hulu and Netflix. A while back, I learned that "Peggy Sue Got Married" was one of the movies that Hulu had to offer. One week ago today, I decided to reacquaint myself with this film. I did not realize that Helen Hunt had played Peggy Sue's daughter! Realizing this last week was a very interesting experience!
