That's awesome to see at least, I know a lot of people liked the first movie so the momentum carried over into that one. Hopefully we get some new Sonic games as a result of this too that are more nostalgic like to tap into that.

I even got an SSD for an older laptop and for once have no laptop issues to speak of. I know, such a rare thing :lol:. Glad that despite how busy it sounds, things have been good, hope your schedule calms down so we can talk rebooting the Pancake Boat (kidding though who knows one day with how popular podcasts have become :lol;.

I'm going to be honest, I'm one of those people that tries to separate the art from the artist as much as possible, but I could never watch that show again given the stuff that came out.

However, I DID have this horrifying experience happen in one of the bathrooms in my apartment a week ago, where for some reason water started flowing out of the toilet for no reason and it filled up the entire room with water.

It didn't cause any damage to my apartment, but again, I would NOT have wanted to be the people living directly below me. :lol:

I actually don't mind it and like it, that was one of the selling points of this place for me.

It's loud because I'm in the city, but it's MUCH quieter than when I was on the ground level. And earthquakes basically never happen around here, so that isn't much of a worry.

Basically, the garbage disposal got clogged up and when I took apart the pipe below that thing EXPLODED from the pressure of all the stuff in there and covered me in whatever the hell that stuff was.

That ALMOST ruined my Christmas, because I was so furious that I had to be the one to do that since there were no plumbers around working that day. :lol:

I did get the job done though.

From what I know, a lot of important government computers still use dial up, and also use Windows DOS.

Apparently, this technology is so outdated, it is almost immune to hackers because no one around knows how to exploit that code anymore, or at least they don't have the time or money to learn it.

My co-worker told me cops were outside one night when it was being installed because somehow the police were called accidentally during installation.

LOL I've dealt with Cisco phones many times, and I can almost guarantee what happened was is that someone hit the 9 key and didn't hang the phone up immediately.

Almost all Cisco phones are set up so that if you just hit the 9 button and pause or stop, it automatically calls 911. The police will come, and there is nothing you can do to stop it unless you call the police back and tell them it was an accident immediately. It's like a panic button.

I'd still have your landlord fix it. Landlords are cheap, you should have a working disposal even if you don't use it because if it isn't working properly it can cause plumbing issues.

LOL I've dealt with Cisco phones many times, and I can almost guarantee what happened was is that someone hit the 9 key and didn't hang the phone up immediately.

Almost all Cisco phones are set up so that if you just hit the 9 button and pause or stop, it automatically calls 911. The police will come, and there is nothing you can do to stop it unless you call the police back and tell them it was an accident immediately. It's like a panic button.

Longest place I've ever lived was at that house on Navy, which was from 1994 to 2015. Actually, that's the only place I've ever lived longer than a few years.

I moved around a looooot as a kid so I kinda have an aversion to moving these days. I lived in that house with my Mom and sister from 1999 to 2009, and have lived here in my apartment since 2009.

I'm sure I'll probably move again some day but I still like it here for the most part. It's in a convenient spot where I can walk to most stuff easily.

The funniest Cisco thing I ever was a part of was this one time I was calling the corporate line for some reason, and somehow accidentally transferred the call to Line 60, which is the intercom line (probably the thing that announces stuff over the intercom at your job) and no one knew how to stop it or turn it off. It was just hold music endlessly for hours until someone picked up.

I think we talked about calling and asking specifically for you to help us find the Mandy's Day Away CD or something.

The closest thing I think I have had to Toilet Trauma since then was the "Beijing Beef Incident" back in like 2015 or so when my Mom and sister cleaned out the fridge on Christmas Eve and poured a massive amount of old Chinese food down the drain after throwing potato peelings in the garbage disposal. Basically, the garbage disposal got clogged up and when I took apart the pipe below that thing EXPLODED from the pressure of all the stuff in there and covered me in whatever the hell that stuff was.

That ALMOST ruined my Christmas, because I was so furious that I had to be the one to do that since there were no plumbers around working that day. :lol:
