My favs were-Jem, Lost cities of Gold, & basically anything that was on Nickelodeon like Belle & Sabastion, Mapletown, Little Prince from Outer Space..

I used to like He-Man & Masters Of The Universe. Ya'll remember Thundercats? Thundercats was one of my favorites & i also liked GIJOE. Mr T used to have a cartoon & his own cereal in the 80's. I loved Bugs Bunny & still do. Porky Pig is another favorite of mine & Roadrunner. Alvin & The Chipmunks i liked a lot & Rambo had a cartoon. The Jackson 5 had a cartoon. All these cartoons i mentioned were my favorites. I remember Voltron. Didn't Ghostbusters have a cartoon?

I Know...I know..it was not a cartoon but more of a kids show, but do you guys remember it, I used to love Fragil Rock, it was so cool where they lived to....

I loved the Care Bears, My Little Pony and Fraggle Rock. Once upon a time I had the theme song memorized and every character down, but I haven't seen them in so long. Another favorite of mine, not sure of the year though, was the Gummy Bears. It was kind of silly but I thought it was great.

For the most part, cartoons in the 80s were crap, the only one i liked was Tailspin, had great characters ( Even if some were recycled from Jungle Book ) , a love story, good writing and great airplane adventures with pirates and villians of all types...too bad the relationships were never totally explored !

Ah, I loved 80s cartoons :cool: Usually watched the most on Saturdays mornings...

Aside from THE SIMPSONS (which debuted in 1989), the most memorable ones
(for me) were: THE SMURFS (1981), G.I. JOE (1983), INSPECTOR GADGET
(1983), DUCK TALES (1987; the first Disney TV cartoon series), and TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES (1988). I also liked GARFIELD and ALVIN & THE CHIPMUNKS, but those were based on properties that had been around for
decades. (Well, actually the stars of Disney's DUCK TALES--Scrooge McDuck
and Donald's nephews--had also been around for decades. But it's important
since it was the first Disney animated TV series.)
