This just popped into my head yesterday. Was Nancy ever considered to play Kristy McNicol’s part on Empty Nest? I mean, I would think she would have been. I thought maybe I had read this, but it’s nowhere on the web. Am I dreaming this?

Don't know. I think at this time, Nancy M. wanted to do movies (even if they were only TV movies) vs. another TV show. They also probably would want her to play a Jo time character.

I don't think Nancy was ever considered. It's known she and Lisa linked to the origins of "Friends" roles, but I've never heard nor read anywhere about Nancy being a contender for EN.

Nancy was originally linked to play the lead in the NBC TV adaptation of the film Working Girl (Nancy was therefore, going to play the Melanie Griffith role). But for whatever there reasons, she decided to drop out and some actress named Sandra Bullock took her spot. I wonder what happened to her. ;)
