In 1987 a song called Show Me debuted on the dance charts and introduced us to The Cover Girls who were a New York based dance group. The album also titled Show Me was a great debut for this band. After a member change The Cover Girls released their second album We Can't Go Wrong in 1989 which had the title track as a single and a cute cover of The Drifters classic Up On The Roof. A third album Here It Is followed in 1992 and featured a cover of Wishing On A Star and while Here It Is was a success The Cover Girls disbanded soon after but returned with a new lineup and album in 1996.
