Have you ever bought a live insect from them? If they’re dead, then can you return them?

I'm not a big "returner". Usually by the time that I buy anything, I am so sure that I want it, that the prospect of returning it never even enters my mind. (broken items excepted)

I realize that not everybody feels this way, and many might even go so far as to use return privileges as a way to expand their means by in effect "borrowing" items they can't afford to keep. But my mind just does not work that way. (buy an expensive watch, wear it one time to the class reunion, and then return it afterwards)

I've got one friend named Rex who REGULARLY returns items that he bought years ago and wore out. What he'll do is if (example) say his 3 year old window fan burns out, he'll go out and buy the exact same model new and then clean up his old one, put it in the box and return it as defective.

He's ever declared the practice is his own name, saying "I pulled a Rex, and exchanged my old one"

I had to look up live insects on Amazon. Sure, enough they do sell them.

I just think there is something really screwed up about a marketplace where "hassle-free returns" are a main selling point.

Nothing like buying your "new" thing-ama-jig, only to discover the pouch containing the instructions has been restapled shut, letting you know that someone else has already had their grubby little hands all over it.

I'm just trying to figure out why anyone would order a bug from Amazon.
