Fans think Adriana and Wendy are the same person
For some time throughout "The Sopranos," the FBI uses Adriana La Cerva for information on Christopher Moltisanti and the rest of the DiMeo crime family. Eventually, the pressure proves to be too much, and she comes clean to Christopher, hoping he'll understand her predicament. However, Christopher ultimately remains loyal to Tony Soprano, who instructs Silvio Dante (Steven Van Zandt) to drive Adriana into a wooded area and kill her.
Since Adriana's death is not explicitly seen on screen (audiences just hear the gunshot), there's been much speculation as to whether or not Silvio actually did the deed.
