The "Star Trek" franchise has been running since 1966, and in that time it has become one of the most beloved, successful, and iconic science fiction series ever made. In a universe hundreds of years in our future, Earth has progressed to an age of enlightenment, made contact with alien civilizations, and built a United Federation of Planets that stretches across the galaxy.
