Ever notice how Lisa often calls Oliver by a different name? Usually it's when she's mad at him about something. She'll say something like "You better watch it, Rodney", or "You're really something, Morton".

I'm not sure if she ever used the same name twice. What was this all about? Was it something unique to Lisa, or was this common practice at one time?

If I remember right, I thought it was usually in reference to something that had happened earlier in the episode.

I know Eddie Haskall from Leave it to Beaver called people by different names like "Sam", "Gretchen", etc....

Thanks for the response, but I don't think that's what's going on. It doesn't seem to be a reference to something that happened previously.

I looked up Eddie Haskell calling people different names, and it said this was something he did to show how "hip" he was, Like calling Wally Sam or Jake. That doesn't seem to be what's going on with Lisa though, she seems to be doing it to express anger somehow.
