I happen to like the original better, that said, Cassidy's version is great, it's one of my favorite songs from 1971 (a great year for music). Cassidy is underrated as a singer, he did a solid version of How Can I Be Sure, A very solid version of "Some Kind of A Summer", his song from 1990 "Lyin To Myself" is also good.

None of the songs from Cherish appeared on the show. This solo record was a different vibe from the Partridge tunes, even though Wes Ferrell contributed.
