What's the deal with this whole Stefan Urkel deal??? How come none of the characters care that there are extraordinary breakthroughs in science technology or worry about its dangers? And if it's all meant as a joke or just in fun, why is the storyline about the relationship between Laura and Steve/Stefan also shown so seriously? How can there be 2 different Steves? Does "Stefan" have a separate identity in the world...with different fingerprints and social security number? How come Laura is so ready and willing to be with this new "Steve"...isn't she creeped out by the weirdness? I would be! What in the world is this nonsense....they based so many episodes on this sci-fi concept....it totally takes away from this being a normal family sitcom.

I guess every sitcom loses its path toward the end of its run, so no big surprise.
