AB 03-30-2022, 07:26 PM Very sad to hear this. My brother-in-law had Aphasia after he fell and hit the back of his head on the raised edge of a sidewalk. His brain swelled and he lost the ability to speak & understand us, he eventually took his own life. It's so very sad for anyone having to go through this. I hope Bruce might have better results. rusty spike 03-31-2022, 11:02 AM Depressing to say the least. JamesG 02-16-2023, 04:40 PM Bruce Willis’ Condition Worsens as Family Announces “Painful” Dementia Diagnosis by Chris Gardner Feb. 16, 2023 Bruce Willis’ family has issued a new statement about the actor’s health, confirming that his condition has worsened and he’s now facing frontotemporal dementia (FTD), which is hindering his ability to speak and communicate. The news comes nearly a year after his family confirmed that Willis, 67, would be stepping away from acting due to an initial diagnosis of aphasia. “While this is painful, it is a relief to finally have a clear diagnosis,” reads the official statement, attributed to wife Emma Heming Willis, ex-wife Demi Moore and his children Rumer, Scout, Tallulah, Mabel and Evelyn. “FTD is a cruel disease that many of us have never heard of and can strike anyone.” https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/general-news/bruce-willis-dementia-condition-aphasia-1235327954/ Caroline13 10-15-2023, 09:59 PM Another sad health issue story out of Hollywood, I'm hearing more about Bruce today on my radio.
