Thanks, I dont like this at all:lol:
howilu 05-16-2022, 09:43 AM It's pretty sad that The Addams Family and Happy Days are leaving METV but coincidentally the show that's replacing them is the show that killed Happy Days, The A-Team. I remember the NBC promo with Mr. T growling "Hey Fonz, your Happy Days are over!" It would pay off for NBC and Happy Das would end in 1984.

Brings up an interesting point. Have there been other times when a network promo directly mentioned the competition by name?

I started a general sitcoms board thread about it. Let's see if anyone comes up with anything.

On the streaming version of Catchy it’s different. I guess they don’t have the rights to all the episodes. They even start over after they finish the cycle the first time and play them again. Must be a very limited number they can stream across all seasons. Same for Laverne and Shirley next weekend. Most episodes are from seasons 2, 5, and 6. A fee from 3, 4, 7, 8, 9, 10, and 11 mixed in. None from Season 1 oddly.

So the streaming version has what seasons? Catchy showed season 1 to 4

The streaming one has a mix of episodes across Seasons 2-3, 5-11 shown in order, mostly from 2, 5, and 6. No episodes from 1 or 4. The same ones repeated once they were all shown. Looks like the second cycle will stop at 8. I see next week the Laverne and Shirley that the streaming is showing will go through two full loops then start a third loop.

You can watch seasons 1-6 on DVD (you can buy them separately or in a box set)
Paramount+ has only season 2 (and even then, like a little less than half the episodes are missing)
Amazon Prime has a (very bare) selection of episodes from seasons 2-11
The Roku Channel has the same episode selection as Paramount+
You can buy the same selection as Paramount+ and Amazon on YouTube
PlutoTV has a channel that airs seasons 2-11 (as well as L&S and Mork and Mindy)
