For me from Young Person to Now....and yes I know we do not talk health but I'll try this and see if it hits anyone:

I've tried I thought everything...from magnesium, colonics, laxatives, stool softeners, Vit C big doses, I had 2 bowel blockages in my 40's, and just started with a Herbal Colon Cleanse recommended by another online friend, and so so disappointed,,,,it's NOT doing the job I had hoped for.

So talking to my daughter and she's had issues that I didn't realize with the constipation and she says: Global Healing Oxy Powder does it for her....reading about it and reading other reviews on Amazon, people are getting rid of years of caked on "crap" from using this product: Global Healing Oxy Powder.

Constipation is Huge in our country and so much is from a lot of the drugs that so many are taking. Ibuprofen is an offender and I know this and work to keep it to 1 every 6 hrs...but take this otc pain med for years!!!!! Carrying around extra weight from just the colon, omg!!!!!! And so toxic.

Here is just one review out of 1000's on Amazon:

Reviewed in the United States on December 18, 2018
Size: 120 Count (Pack of 1)Verified Purchase

Absolutely amazing, works! I was considering going to the doctor for a partial obstruction I couldn't move for 2 weeks. Took every type or laxative, mineral oil, miralax, dulcolax, magnesium, suppositories, enemas and even a hydrotherapy colonic, aloe, coconut oil, apple cider vinegar! Finally ordered this online and success! No cramping or pain, nice and smooth. I took 6 at bedtime and was up at 2am to finally go. What a relief!""""

Many say find the dose that works with your system and this is so true. Stay close to bathroom...

I'm waiting for my first order to arrive, it can't come soon enough... In the meantime, I'm using the herbal cleanse and the Vit C etc and it's better than nothing I'm thinking.

And Drinking more warm water thru the day is Vital....and I've eliminated foods that are major cloggers of our systems. But years of build up...grrrrrrrrr

Now if you are all tip top in this area, just ignore...

And I have NO relationship with this company or their product......

Global Healing Oxy Powder is manufactured by Global Healing Center, owned by Dr. Edward Group. Group is a chiropractor with dubious credentials (https://knowledgefight.com/people/2018/8/22/dr-edward-group), and who has made claims on Alex Jones' Infowars that drinking urine will cure Covid-19. Why am I not surprised by the comments, so far, from some of the "expert" members here????

I'm not belly laughing but laughing....

And Dr. Group is my kind of "healer" not one slaps a patient with drugs and lets them struggle with the side effects. And for being a chiro, I've done chiro and osteopathy work on my back for decades and this work kept me from the knifes and hammers of the surgeons...but I let a surgeon mess up my hip with his tools and now I'm pretty disabled....grrrrrrrrrrrrrr

This comment doesn't address my concern: what is a chiropractor doing selling bowel products, and why is he telling people to drink urine to "cure" Covid-19? Who in their right mind would buy medicinal products from someone who has no medical training in GI, and who has recommended quack "cures" for Covid-19 on the world's biggest conspiracy theory website?

I know, I know... you "can't wait" to get your Global Healing Oxy Powder, and had to enthusiastically endorse the product here, where you've helpfully copied and pasted a positive Amazon review so people here will know just how good the product truly is. You've also mentioned how great your daughter thinks Global Healing Oxy Powder is. We'll likely also have to endure follow-up spam talking about how great the product worked at cleaning out your colon.

You can look at the 1000's of reviews on this product and I won't mention how it's working in my body as I know none of you care. I only post this info as I know the people of the world and the U.S. for certain, are "Full of SHEET" ...babies even struggle with this issue but you would not know about this since you don't look at babies health issues.

You think you have a squeeky clean colon Retro? Think again.

And many chiros that I have known in my life go on to other health issues to help their patients and just not back manipulations. They've gone to further studies in their healing methods..smart people.

So much ignorance out there...so many stuck in one mindset.

You can look at the 1000's of reviews on this product

Yeah, I see the reviews. A significant portion of reviews say this product gave them terrible, painful cramps that hurt like hell.

Someone noted Germanium was removed that made all the difference. I’m regular 99% of the time but as this is an intestine cleanser and I’m in my 60s…probably need to cleanse, right? I took the number of capsules (4) suggested. This product gave me belly cramps, what I call ‘gas cramps’ where gas in tiny bubbles just traps inside your intestines and hurts like hell. The next morning I had a blow out, mostly diarrhea, and this continued with me taking fewer capsules until I was only taking 1. Still painful. I had to stop. It sounded like a good thing but no. I think it caused more stress than it did anything good.

horrible intestinal pains, don't know why

After reading some of the reviews, I decided to cave in and purchase this. I believe I’ve grown a real sensitivity to dairy and been having gas and stomach aches pretty often lately. I took the recommended serving everyday for the past week and have been experiencing the worst diarrhea/loose stools everyday for at least 3-4x a day. I don’t know if this was also a factor of being on my period while taking these, but after reading their similar reviews I understood why this was happening. Sadly will be giving this a 1 star review. Be warned!

I've had chronic constipation since the pandemic started and was eager to try this to relieve my backed up colon and mood swings.

First night, I took 4 pills : nothing. Upped it to six pills for five days and ultimately had 3 explosive watery stools/diarrhea each day — usually in the morning or after a light meal. Not to mention, cryptic farts throughout the day. And while my stomach felt lighter in the morning, I felt really bloated by night despite drinking lots of water. It also made my insomnia worse. So yeah, it didn't work for my body, and these supplements seem like a messy bandaid fix for those suffering from constipation.

I have severe IBS~C and never “go” without a laxative. I was hoping this was the answer and would make life easier but it wasn’t. I took as directed, 4 at bedtime with lemon water. I woke at 4:30 am with a horrible headache and nauseous. That feeling didn’t go away Until 3:00 pm. I felt sick all day, and never went to the bathroom. So the Second night I took two, thinking I came this far why stop now. I again woke in the night with a headache, though not nearly as bad. I didn’t “go” the second day either. Now I’m done with this product. The headaches and nausea aren’t worth it.

Trash.......Gives you cramps and doesnt work! You will do better JUICING

I purchased this after reading a blog recommending it for a thorough colon cleanse. Reviews were mixed, but mostly positive. I followed the directions on the bottle and took 4 capsules. It says to take them at night before bed and expect it to kick in the following day. I was a little skeptical about the timing and took in the morning. It kicked in about four hours later, but my experience was not as expected or desired. It produced diarrhea in small amounts a few times that day and a few times the next day. Certainly did not fully clean out the colon. And unlike many of the reviews that describe "solid" results, I had limited results that were all liquid. Next time I will stick to the $1 bottle of Magnesium Citrate that my GI recommends. While it produces all liquid results, it is quick acting and does thoroughly empty the entire colon in the one day.

Either the company changed the formula or I got a fake product. I’m highly sensitive to dairy & gluten. I have been taking this for months but something’s changed in my latest bottle. This bottle gives me cramps, bloating and extreme flare up of my condition. Be very very careful before buying.

I really was excited to try this product and did my research. I took 4 capsules at bedtime as prescribed (10PM) and woke at 4AM with the product starting to do it's job. Stools were almost all water, horrible smell, and a bit of cramping. Woke up around 6AM, same type of experience. I felt a bit weak and had no appetite. The rest of the day had about 4 more experiences, and by end of day was really bloated and not feeling well. I obviously did not fair as well as others. Returned the product.

I used it for chronic constipation. And it gave me bloating and stomach cramps, to the point I had to bend over at a 90 degree angle to walk.

Wow. I have purchased this one other time and had a great review.
But, today i received this in the mail. I am appalled that this even got out into the market. Someone stuffed a tissue into it…WHAT? And on top of that, there are only 4 pills in it? That is unacceptable.

This product did not work for me. If anything it made me feel miserable. After taking the pills I got severe abdominal bloat, my intestines gurgled nonstop and I produced the most horrendous gas ever. Everything it claimed to prevent it caused in me. I’m not paying for those kinds of symptoms at all!!

After reading all of the amazing reviews I was so excited to try this product. I have difficulty going to the bathroom and pretty much only can with ex lax. I tried 4 caps the first night and the next day barely went to the bathroom and it wasn’t even a real bm. Basically water and I was incredibly bloated with the worst stomach pains ALL DAY. I decided to try again the next night and the following day I still had horrible bloating and pains and was having watery bm all day. It’s awful. I would rather stick to exlax once a week to clear everything out and it’s way cheaper

Took the recommended dose of 4 pills at 9pm. At 1am was woken with extreme stomach pain that left it hard to breathe and feeling like I was gonna throw up. That was followed with bathroom explosion. Then the next morning several more (almost accidents) explosions. But those were without pain. No wonder people say they lose weight. It’s like an enema

I returned it. Thats way too much magnesium to try to get it to do something, and overly pricy, too. It just made me feel weak, every time. I looked forward to something happening after reading rave reviews.

I had high hopes for this product. I took tuesday night 4 tabs as described and only 1 stool next day, had cramping and pain overnight and didnt sleep well after taking 4 tabs. Took 2 more tabs as indicated and no stool the next day. Took 2 more tabs the next day and still no stool. Left me feeling nauseated, full and bloated with gas. Also please note I drink a gallon of water daily so that was not the issue and I eat a very clean diet.

This product got me sick, had to take laxative to flush out of my intestines. Pieces of the pill weren't dissolved and stuck in my intestinal tract. I should have know that the expiration was a sticker (not printed on the bottle), with a strange, almost mold-like smell. Never again, complete garbage. Save yourself the trouble and don't order.

Upset my stomach. Actually made me sick throughout my whole digestive system. I took it for 2 weeks before I realized that it was the reason I was so sick. I don’t understand why, but I wouldn’t take it again.

Side effects can range from complications, constipation and life-threatening reactions. Even I have experienced a hazards that make feel anxious and distressed. AWFUL!!

Took as instructed two nights in a row and was nauseas, bloated, cramped and exhausted for multiple days after. Would not ever take again due to how painful my stomach still feels.

Caused vomiting nausea the very first day

I Have never felt worse than after taking this and I have done prep for 3 colonoscopies. Not sure how you could take it every 2-3 days.

These made me worse I gave them a good try and my stomach was sore for days with no bowel movement what so ever. I drink a gallon of water daily and I eat loads of fiber, these were like blockers for me ... it’s a “ NO GO” product . I had high hopes, but it was a flop.

...It's too bad there isn't a VAERS database for a crappy product like this. How many people died in terrible, cramping pain because of this product, and we'll never know, because they can't tell us about the ****** results, and their intense stomach pain? The victims of Big Vitamin and Dr. Edward Group, or Dr. Edward Goop, as I call him.

I like the odds.

Yes, 4% said it was a terrible product and gave them terrible cramps and stomach pains, and an unknown number couldn't review the product because they never recovered. The Mayo Clinic says that some of these "colon cleansing" products have led to death. (https://www.mayoclinic.org/healthy-lifestyle/consumer-health/expert-answers/colon-cleansing/faq-20058435)

Other potential concerns with colon cleansing include:

Dehydration
A tear in the rectum (perforation)
Infection
A change in your electrolyte balance, which can be dangerous if you have kidney or heart disease or other health problems

If you choose to try colon cleansing, take these precautions:

Check with your conventional medical provider first, especially if you take any medications or have any health problems, such as kidney or heart disease.
Make sure your colon-cleansing practitioner is reputable and uses disposable equipment that hasn't been previously used.
Get a list of specific herbal ingredients and amounts in any colon-cleansing products you use — some ingredients can cause health problems.

LOL, "exit only".... :D

Seriously though, the worst constipation that I ever had, was after a week long stint in the hospital for a really bad infection, they had me on an I.V. "antibiotic of last resort" for 5 days, and evidently it killed most of my intestinal flora.

Which, I firmly believe that the sickest people out there are the ones who seek medical care regularly....all the unintended side affects of their miracle medicines.

I almost never go to the doctor, and am remarkably healthy most of the time, but I believe there is an inverse relationship there. One that flies in the face of all the hypochondriac "care addicts" who seem to relish using their medical coverage in order to force someone to pay attention to them.

So, they go in just to get a pat on the butt three times a month, and sock it to the insurance company. Something the doctors are only too happy to accommodate. Sacred cows being so hard to kill, etc.

And before you accuse me yet again, Caroline, of "changing the subject"...no, if you'll just read between the lines what I am saying is the (apparent) obsession with healthcare might be the #1 major health issue plaguing this country.

"Oh, let me go get poked, prodded, coddled, and reassured that I am special, and then sock the bill into the collective pool"....because ...you know..I AM special...lol!

Just know too there is so much discussion about most diseases begin in the gut.

And GJ, I see my Integrative MD once a year and my annual is coming up in May, if I didn't need a couple minor meds with refills I would not even go, but I also feel it's good to have a doctor for just in case. My favorite MD is Dr. Google. And trying "things" that may help an issue I may be dealing with.

And I've never done a colonoscopy and will not. Talk about injuries...

Wasn't she banned from the political section for a while because she was talking up a relative's podcast?

Yes; originally, she had claimed she had no financial involvement in promoting the alternative-health products and people she was endorsing; one of the groups she was pimping was America's Frontline Doctors. Then, a month later or so, she disclosed that one of her relatives is one of the America's Frontline Doctors, and she had been linking to his YouTube videos, where he and his wife ask people to support them on Patreon, with a link to their Patreon; turns out they're making $30,000 per month from their Patreon and YouTube subscribers.

It's like she's trying to become an influencer,.

I don't doubt this is a spam attempt. Why else copy and paste positive Amazon product reviews, discussing how much your daughter endorses the product, and mentioning how you "can't wait" to get the product yourself?

Two days ago, Caroline copied and pasted this exact same content on MentalHealthForum.net (https://www.mentalhealthforum.net/forum/threads/sluggish-bowels-from-young-person-to-now.480802/). Then she copied the same content over to Neurotalk.org (https://www.neurotalk.org/general-health-conditions-and-rare-disorders/257562-sluggish-bowel-system-person.html#post1299076), and then Seniors Only Club (http://www.seniorsonly.club/threads/sluggish-bowels-from-young-person-to-now.20636/#post-588792). Please correct me if I'm wrong about this. From what I can remember, she posted ONE link to a YouTube video podcast from a relative, which I deleted. This is a relative that she claims that she's never met. She is only related to him through her daughter's marriage.

When I lifted her ban from the Politics board, I asked to not post any links to any relative's videos or anything that would be considered very dangerous. She's honored that request. You seemed to be fine with her being allowed back.

You reported her post as spam. I see it as yet another example of Caroline13's genuine passion for offbeat products. People share links for products on Facebook and Twitter all the time. That doesn't mean they have financial ties to them. They share links for products that they (or people who they know) use and endorse.

She stated in her original post that "And I have NO relationship with this company or their product......" Maybe her post sounds a little bit like a commercial, but she didn't even link to the product on Amazon. If she wanted to make money off these links, she could join the Amazon Associates program.

I don't doubt that some of these companies are paying for fake Amazon product reviews, but I doubt they are paying 83-year-old grannies to talk about them on online health forums. Unless you can prove otherwise and show some receipts, then I have to believe her.

Caroline13

Well, the product arrived and I will start with it tonight or early tomorrow morning, one has to take a lot of water with it, and at night if I take too much water before sleep I'm up half the night peeing....we ole grannies...darn our old parts...

Continue to be yourself and enjoy your forums. You don't really have it too easy on here, but you seem to have some thick skin. You get challenged and fact checked on many of your posts, which I think is a good thing. Some people who are seemingly against censorship wanted you banned permanently, but I'm glad you've made yourself a part of our community. :)

My health advice is don’t do whatever Caroline recommends.

True. I am just flabbergasted by some of the things she is endorsing. People who aren't medical doctors shouldn't be giving medical advice at all because that can kill.

Interesting that you always post "us" comments. Very strange indeed.

A lot of people are sick and dying and maybe because they don't have good information....and don't help themselves...

All I'm posting is information, take it or leave it. Thanks as always TV.

God knows where else.

How long are we going to be subjected to spam?

Wow ReteroGuy, reading that in conjunction with TJ's post above stating this:

You reported her post as spam. I see it as yet another example of Caroline13's genuine passion for offbeat products. .

I just have to ask, how often do you report posters?

On the one hand, you seem to enjoy debate on contentious subjects, often "going long" to find obscure sources to support your rebuttals of claims made by others....which is fine...I usually enjoy them even when I disagree with the purported intent of their authors.

But, if you are in the habit of reporting posts that you may have contributed some role in provoking,....that is certainly a game changer.

How frequently? once-twice a month? More? Less?

Just curious.

This thread has kind of run its course. It has literally gone down the toilet.

RetroGuy2000 has reported six posts in the last two years. He's not somebody who overuses the report button. This was the first time that he reported Caroline13 for spam. It was the only time he has reported her for anything. He has brought up some other issues privately to me in the past, which I have tried to address.

I didn't consider it spam when she's copying and pasting the same post across a few health related forums. End of story.

She received more responses here than on the other forums combined. Go figure.

Final update from Caroline13 for those who want to know: "BTW: Today after 1 day on the Cleanse this ole gal has the cleanest colon in years....many years...Be well, I'm feeling very "light" this morning."
