What year did Happy Days go into syndication?

It went into reruns on ABC as early as 1975- just one year after its debut! It seems to have gone into syndication in 1979 but, because the show was still in production, they called it 'Happy Days Again' so viewers would know these were reruns they were watching! I'm not sure how soon it would be aired internationally.
