Barrett Doss is celebrating her 33rd birthday today. For the past four years, Doss has been starring as firefighter Victoria Hughes, on ABC’s Station 19. The series is a Grey’s Anatomy spinoff, and she has also made several crossover appearances on the parent series.

Doss was born in Minneapolis, and lived in Chicago and New York while growing up. While attending NYU, she began working on stage. She made her off-Broadway debut in the 2011 original production of Thomas Bradshaw’s Burning, and was an understudy for several roles in the 2014 Broadway revival of You Can’t Take It With You. In 2017, Doss starred as Rita Hanson in the original Broadway production of the musical Groundhog Day, and won a Theatre World Award.
Doss made her screen debut in 2013, in a guest appearance on 30 Rock. She then appeared in guest roles on series such as The Family and Bull. In 2017, she appeared in a recurring role on season 1 of Iron Fist, and she also made her feature film debut in Marshall. She will appear in a supporting role in an upcoming Netflix feature, The Noel Diary.
