I was thinking, the only way that Sherwood Schwartz will get a movie up to theatres, is if he reinterests the audience, by releasing All three seasons of Gilligan's Island onto DVD.

Interest was way up this year after "Surviving Gilligan's Island"; it was the highest rated CBS TV movie since, like, 1999 I think. But I think DVDs are a great idea! I, for one, would totally buy them. They'd last longer and take up less space than all my tapes!
One condition though: they'd have to be UNCUT episodes! I need to see uncut versions of my fave eps in the worst way! lol. I don't know why GI doesn't have DVDs already -- it IS the most rerun show in television history after all...

Oh, true... And I think it'd only cost about $30 a season... kinda cheaper than ILL or AITF, anyways. :p

So, in a way, I'm glad there was only 3 seasons. It's cheaper. Unless they do that 4 episode to a disk BS like they're doing with ILL. I like how they're doing AITF, one season for $30-$40.

Then I'd have some serious blank tape-age if it came out on DVD. (Which I am in dire need of.) LOL.
