Fox Stations Group has opted to cancel the syndicated talk show known for offering perspectives from multicultural women aimed at a young adult audience. Created by Jersey Shore creator SallyAnn Salsano, The Real premiered with a test run in summer 2013 before its formal launch in fall 2014 with co-hosts Tamera Mowry-Housley, stylist Jeannie Mai, singer Tamar Braxton and singer and actress Loni Love.

Loni Love, Adrienne Houghton, Garcelle Beauvais and Jeannie Mai Jenkins bid an emotional farewell to the syndicated daytime talk show, which has been canceled after eight seasons. "We have made our mark," Houghton says in a clip from Friday's pre-taped finale. "I was talking to my mom earlier this morning. She knows this is the farewell show, and she was just telling me, 'You guys really did break the mold of daytime television,' and it's so crazy when you think of it that way. There was never a show that looked like us."
