Does anyone know the name of Otis' wife on the tv show Andy Griffith? My daughters dogs name is Otis and she is getting a new boxer puppy and wants to name her after Otis wife. Thanks, Diana

Okay, don't quote me on this but I think Otis' wife's name is Rita. I think its Rita. Maybe someone can either verify this for you or come up with her name for you.

...that was on a network that escapes me right now, called 'The Rudy and Go Go Cartoon Show'!

I'm using Rudy as my screen picture...and Go Go was a cute little goat! I couldn't find a picture of him. :crying:

Anyway...an on-going gag was 'Go Go' running for president! His campaign signs read "VOTE GOAT"!

They used it in their promos, singing "VOTE GOAT" with a creepy banjo thing...and it was hysterical! :lol:

No one around here seems to recall it...there were some celebrity 'guests' like Alec Baldwin on an episode I believe!

I found it rather uneven when Otis briefly moved his drinking habits over to Mt. Pilot that there was no mention of where Mrs. Rita Campbell was in that ep. Otis seems a bachelor in that story.

You really don't see Rita in many episodes at all. They must have phased her out like they did the oldest brother on Happy Days. He just disappeared! No one even missed him! :confused:

I really hate when shows do that. I guess Rita was such a minor character they did that with her character, but it does seem like they moved Rita wherever Chuck Cunningham went.
