What is your dream car?

Funny you should ask. I was thinking about this the other day and was going to post it eventually.

I really love 1964 Mustangs. And all the old corvettes.

I love just about all the old cars from like the 50s and the 60s, and even ones from before then...those cars had real character.

I also like Cobras. :D

If I were forced to choose a modern car that I like, PT Cruisers are kind of neat, as are Dodge Vipers and VW Bugs.

Bootsy: I know that you and I have disagreed on other subjects in the past, but here is a subject in which I think we are in complete agreement!

I, too love the old cars (maybe that's because I'm old myself!).
I think the original T-Birds are among the most beautiful cars ever produced. The 1963 Corvette Sting Ray and the 1964-66 Mustangs are also favorites of mine. Then there's the Jaguar XKE from the same era.

If I were buying a new car, I'd think seriously about getting a PT Cruiser. Next year, Pontiac is bringing out an updated version of the GTO (which will actually be a variation of a car called the "Monaro", which is built by their subsiduary in Australia, known as Holden). From the drawings that I've seen, it looks like a really sharp car.

I haven't really ever though about my dream car before. I do know I want a convertible, but that's all I know.

Or some other expensive vehicle...my aunt & uncle have two Mercedes. They ought to give me one. :D

That car of Jinny's was a Camaro-not a mustang-Im sure of it. I know a Mustang when I see one! LOL. I wouldnt mind that car.

If I had the money, I'd get a Jaguar. PT Cruisers are cool too. I also like any car from the 50's or 60's that has been restored especially Corvettes. I also like the car I have, a silver Saturn SL2.

I think that I have seen those sketches of the new Pontiac GTO, and it does look sharp! I've been really pleased to see that some car makers seem to be back on a trend towards making more distinctive cars. I really hate the fact that there are like 12 million cars on the road EXACTLY like mine, and about 24 million more that are similar! I have a Ford Escort Wagon (ugh) and I shouldn't complain because at least I didn't have to pay for it, but they look exactly like every other wagon on the road now. And before that I had a Plymoth Horizon, which was exactly like the Dodge Omni, which also looked like just about every hatchback on the road. BLAH!

I used to be totally obsessed with old cars...used to subscribe to "Car Collector" magazine and everything. I'm not as obsessed any more, but I still care about old cars, and if I'm ever in the position to buy one, I will.

I really like old bugs...I probably want to drive an old fashioned beetle bug taxi from like the 50s..they look cool imo.

I once owned a 1978 Chevrolet Camaro.
My friend dubbed it the "Rockford car" because it was the same color as Jim Rockford's Firebird.
I loved that car. Some day when I make my fortune I will get another 1978 Camaro. My dream car.

I love old cars. In my town, they used to have this old black car that I would've loved to have. My mom thought it looked like something Al Capone would drive. Unfortunately, I don't know where that car is now. I think it was involved in some kind of drug deal, or so I heard. That sucks big time because it really was a cool looking car. :(
