D-Dey 03-30-2022, 10:57 AM Was that ever going to be amazing? Well, it was based on a semi-underground Marvel Comic, so you would've expected it to be halfway decent. Sadly, that wasn't the case. But do you know what else I expected to be great that turned out to be total crap? "Joysticks." If you've never heard of this movie it was a teenexploitation flick revolving around a video arcade, and an evil plot by adults to shut it down. For a long time, I was convinced this was the worst movie of the 1980's. Worse than Howard the Duck, Ishtar, Willow and Heaven's Gate combined. Then I saw "Attack of the Super Monsters," and I realized I was wrong. After that I saw the Cinema Snob's review of "Hi-Tops," and I was proven wrong again. Howard cameoed in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. I, lol. rusty spike 03-31-2022, 11:05 AM Every director eventually gets a turkey. Howard was supposed to be a good flick with a good cast, big budget and state of the art special effects. |
