In the episode "Grady, the Star Boarder", Grady move in with Fred and Lamont for $60 a month. But Sanfords only have two bedrooms and wonder how they were going to accommodate Grady.

He had to share a bedroom with Fred or Lamont for sleeping, or sleep in the living room. Or maybe build him a shack in the yard :D

If I remember right, Grady was moving into Fred's room and Fred was moving into Lamont's room, and Lamont was being booted to the sofa as usual.... Lamont was agreeable when he heard Grady snoring upstairs lol, BUT realistically I don't see that going on indefinitely.

The number of rooms upstairs was sorta a mystery and changed depending on the storyline. In the earthquake episode when Fred was trying to sell the house, he rushes a couple upstairs to show them around and you can hear him opening and closing at least 6 or 7 doors calling out different rooms, it's hard to hear because of audience laughter, but it SOUNDS like he says, "1st bedroom, 2nd bedroom, bathroom ~which Lamont was in at the time lol~, guestroom, dinning room, sunroom, .... Thats what it sounded like anyway.... It's not totally out of line seeing as how Julio's house seemed to be HUGE upstairs

In the episode where Grady's cousin Emma visiting, Grady ask her to stay and she told Grady that they only have two bedrooms. And Grady end up sleeping with Lamont. Emma like his cousin Grady was also a loud snorer :D

In the episode where Fred returns from St. Louis, Grady acts as if he plans on staying on for a while, even after Fred returns. Grady gets his feelings hurt when he overhears Fred and Lamont talking and thinking he's no longer needed there, and I thought Lamont ended up asking him to stay on..... I dunno how that would work out with sleeping arrangements lol

I always pictured upstairs there being 2 bedrooms, a bathroom, and MAYBE 2 sizeable closets in the hallway that connect to the bedrooms, many houses Fred's style had those.
