Okay then, rephrasing. If I didn’t pick Betty White as my favorite I’d be ostracized :wave:

I liked Fannie as well.

I picked Betty. Close second choice is Marcia Wallace .

I’d go with Fannie Flagg, but the late Betty White and the late Marcia Wallace were terrific as well.

Yeah a lot of times Patti would really want to give "comical" answers rather than give a logical answer that would match the contestant. On many occasions she made a contestant lose with a nonsensical answer. She is my least favorite, Joyce was cute and a little ditsy but I liked her.:)

During the '74 season Kaye Stevens(1932-2011) sat in the 6th seat. I liked her. She was always laughing! But she could get a little carried away at times. She sure was having a good time! She was always hanging all over Richard. That was kind of annoying. I don't remember her ever returning after '74. I wonder why? Sadly she died from breast cancer in 2011.

I read that frequent “Match Game” celebrity panelists Elaine Joyce would often laugh sarcastically if a contestant gave a poor response. While Richard Dawson puffed away openly on a cigarette in the show, Elaine Joyce apparently tried to sneak a few puffs on a cigarette during commercials, but she once got caught with the butt in her mouth as they came back from a commercial.

And, I’ve heard that the wry and down-to-earth Brett Somers disliked Elaine Joyce’s cute, dumb blond schtick on the show.

Yes, in a bonus track on my Match Game CD's Brett mentioned she disliked Elaine Joyce but never explained why. And there was one time I saw Elaine smoking.
