In one of the episodes Barney writes and sings a song called "The Ballad of Andy and Barney" also called "The Gangsters Mistake". It was sung to the tune of "Frankie and Johnny" and went like this...."Andy and Barney were lawmen, Bravest you ever did see. Warned every crook in the record book to stay out of Mayberry. They were the law (Yes, they were the law) and they didn't know fear." I haven't seen this show since I was a boy. Does anyone know what episode it was in? I desperately want to see it again!

Yes, it took me a while to find it but, it's on the one where to bad guys try to break in the bank and when they break in andy is setting in side. its the show right after ernest t. tries to get into the army. hope this helps jobo.
