This description came up on my cable TV listings today.

My Brother's Keeper

"Adam considers marrying and moving to Philadelphia when he falls in love with a woman visiting the Ponderosa with her ailing father."


Sometimes episode descriptions are a bit off but this one has so many wrong details and the most important detail, Adam accidentally shooting his brother, Little Joe, who is then attacked by a wolf, is not part of the description at all. No mention of Little Joe, even though the photo used as part of the listing is that iconic photo of Joe and Adam on Adam's horse, Joe wearing Adam's coat and only semi aware of what's going on.

Makes you wonder who wrote this. Did they watch the episode? I have never seen this episode described as the episode where Adam falls in love and considers marrying a woman "visitng the Ponderosa."

There is a woman in this episode but she's not really "visiting" and Adam did not "fall in love" with her, as far as I remember. The woman's father is "ailing," and Adam does talk about leaving.

Has anyone ever come across an episode description like this one, where the main plot of the episode is completely overlooked?
