I just noticed that during Mrs. Garrett's interview on "The Interview Show" that she makes no mention or even references to her time with the Drummonds when going through her personal history. Wonder why?

She also didn't mention that she'd been married to but had long since divorced her sons' father. Yeah, I know back in the 80's, it was a matter of course for a single mother to have once been married to her children's father (and the marriage had ended via death or getting divorced) but even then one couldn't have always assumed that that had been the case.

Oddly, Mrs. Garrett made it seem as though Eastland just fell in her lap after she'd done the Peace Corp deal via omitting the Drummond linkage but I suppose Miss Rae didn't want to have to bring up Kimberly AKA Miss Plato in way shape or form.

I noticed that too and that's odd. If Mrs. Garrett hadn't been Mr. Drummond's housekeeper, we wouldn't have had her at Eastland. The only reason we could give is that NBC wasn't happy to mention Kimberly/Dana, let's not forget that Dana was fired at the end of the previous season. Mrs. Garrett could have said "I was in the Peace Corp, I became a housekeeper and then Eastland came into the picture". From what she says, it sounds like she arrived at the school with no explanation and became a staff member.
