The deal will include the rights to do new "pop culture content" involving ALF, as well as all episodes of the live action and animated series, and "Project ALF."

They also said they have "unparalleled access" to ALF archive content, including the original broadcast masters, and they plan to restore footage to the episodes that they say hasn't been seen in 30 years.

This is wonderful news! I loved the show as a kid, but the DVDs were so butchered, I ended up giving the sets away. Unfortunately, the prints used for streaming are the same as the DVD versions. So, this is very welcomed news and I look forward to what's coming.

I live in the US and I spent money on the uncut episodes released in Germany and ripped them onto my external hard drive because I refuse to buy a special region free player. I really hope Shout can actually get their hands on the ORIGINAL masters, even the forbidden Try to Remember episode … which is thankfully on YouTube!!! In VHS quality but better than nothing.
