I spent about $5 for a blue velvet textured cloth mask that I have had for at least 16 months! 😀

I bought a 24 pack of Zephryhills water for my job breaks for $3.39 on sale like 2 months ago and I STILL have some water left! 😀

I've got a $20 Timex watch that I bought 15+ years ago, that keeps better time than a $400 Seiko or $250 Casio that I bought just in the past couple years.

Nothing beats a Timex, why the H spend mega money on a time piece/??? Pricey or cheap, the time is the same....

'05 Ford Focus, I bought it used in late 2009 for around $8500 -- still running when I went to a newer (& bigger) car in early 2021. No expenses for the Focus other than battery & tires (and gas of course).

Timex really has been refining their product for decades, and have really distilled the pure essence of what a watch should be.

But, I've also got a Casio with the built in compass and barometer, and those come in handy

Since the last time we switched from Daylight savings time....my Timex is still right on the second, accuracy wise, while the Casio has gained 31 seconds.

But when there is rain in the forecast, and you just don't know when during the day the rain might start....that Casio can tell you when you better head for shelter. It charts a graph like a timeline...and when that graph takes a nose dive, time to get off the bike trails.

I don't need the bells and whistles in my life. Less is best as I've found...when it rains, it rains. the weather people keep us so up on when it Might rain.

I had a love affair with time pieces for the major portion of my life, and owned some good watches and even had my one boss bring me a Seiko on one of his business trips to Japan, I think I paid $80 or so for it.

Now my computer clock and a couple battery clocks in my house do it.

I bought a Kodak Z-650 digital camera for $18 in a Salvation army store 12 years ago. and it still works fine.

Good enough that I nave not felt any need to upgrade.

I bought a Sony clock-radio with a digital tuner for $4 at a Goodwill store several years ago, and play it every day. "Sony - No baloney."
