Last night on NPR they did a segment on this movie and it all came back to me and I watched it back years ago.

A lot is fuzzy on it but I believe this is the one I did see. Anyone else recall it?

I have forgotten that I watched a lot of LifeTime movies.

I saw the first 2 films when they aired, but never got around to the next 2. I do have the 4-film DVD so I really should get it to at some point.

I remember the Lifetime version was a little different from the 1987 adaptation. I seem to remember there was a butler character in the 1987 version who knew about the kids being locked up, but there was no butler in Lifetime's.

I watched Flowers in the Attic and Petals on the Wind and liked them. I've never seen the other two. I had also read the two books by V.C. Andrews. They will probably show the movies again at some point.
