If not then maybe a Jeffersons appearance would have not been realistic since they were always in Queens. I know I dont remember them ever mentioning going to Manhattan on the show.

I was thinking that each Borough has its own shopping area for important items like food so maybe the bunkers never needed to go to Manhattan visaman666 03-03-2022, 06:23 PM They talked quite a bit about New Jersey, Flushing New York, Scranton Pa, California and Disney World in Florida. Archie must have been to Manhattan in his role as a Cab Driver. Just couldnt see Edith and Archie making that trip lol 70s80s90sfan 03-05-2022, 09:36 PM Manhattan was mentioned in a Season 4 episode. Edith went to Manhattan with The Lorenzo’s to a museum. The Bunkers and Jeffersons were not that close really. George and Archie didn’t like each other. Edith and Louise were more neighbor friends not “life friends” or BFF like Louise and Helen. I thinm Edith was actually closer with Irene. TVFactFan 03-05-2022, 10:16 PM Manhattan was mentioned in a Season 4 episode. Edith went to Manhattan with The Lorenzo’s to a museum. George and archie became neighborly eventually but not enough for Archie to visit his new place lol I bet viewers who watched the show at that time was thinking the Bunkers may appear on the Jeffersons |
