From the start of the first episode, you never hear any reference to where they just came from since they just moved in the building. No reference at all to All in the Family but during that same TV season-(74-75), George and Lionel appear in the AITF episode "No Smoking" in their Manhattan apt but no reference is ever made to the Bunkers or their old neighborhood the entire 1st season. You hear more about Harlem than Queens during the 1st season
