As Esquire points out (https://www.esquire.com/entertainment/tv/a39105940/grogu-baby-yoda-mandalorian-george-lucas-criticism/), the newly released Star Wars book The Art of Star Wars: The Mandalorian (Season Two) reveals that Lucas shared his biggest Baby Yoda concern with Dave Filoni during the series’ development. “I had a talk with George, at one point, about the Child,” Filoni says in the book. “His main concern was that the kid has to have a proper amount of training.”
