View Full Version : Wikipedia Thread - What we look up on Wiki
Caroline13 02-13-2022, 03:41 PM Probably the last thing we need here is a new game, but let's do this one for a while. I use Wiki a lot and get a lot of history and facts from Wiki. List what you look up or have looked up.

Theda Bara 02-13-2022, 04:02 PM The last thing I looked up on Wikipedia was information about Anna's Hummingbirds.
Currently we have a male Anna's Hummingbird who is perched inside our palm tree and sings all day; he is absolutely gorgeous and his high-pitched raspy song is adorable.

Caroline13 02-13-2022, 04:44 PM My daughter reported coming almost face to face with a large bird and we did a wiki search and believed it was some kind of Hawk...this was a couple times.

Caroline13 02-13-2022, 05:05 PM The Science of Mind and I found each other in the 80's, talk about life changing. Just by chance came upon Dr. Tom Johnson and his "little" center in Canoga Park and boy was I searching...I found a home and then went to so many centers/churches all over California...

Theda Bara 02-13-2022, 05:16 PM I am a history enthusiast, and I love reading and looking up information about the lives of random people connected to the famous or the infamous.

Zoneboy 02-14-2022, 04:20 PM I despise Wiki so I won't be participating in this game.
All other players have fun though. :)
Zoneboy 02-15-2022, 12:24 PM This really isn't a game and is probably better suited for the random posts board.
Caroline13 02-15-2022, 02:35 PM Whatever, it's kinda like a Game, but Zone if you want to move it. You are the boss. I am happy we have Wiki sure beats a load of encyclopedias that I grew up with. What's to despise about Wiki, that's a ????

PhoenixAcres 02-15-2022, 08:56 PM When I first saw the title I thought of that game where you navigate from one Wikipedia article to a totally different one solely through strategically following the right hyperlinks.

Caroline13 02-16-2022, 02:53 PM I just learned of P J O'Rourke's death and I didn't know too much about him. Wiki filled me in a lot. Says cancer took him....
