When I would watch Deal Or No Deal when it originally aired on NBC and now in reruns on Amazon Prime I noticed that Deal Or No Deal would sometimes use models that were understudies when certain models didn't appear on episodes and I want to know the reason? Because I saw on the reruns that Aubrie Lemon was holding Case #5 that model Ursula Mayes had and Aubrie's case #23 was held by a model named Heather. I also witnessed this in the first season when model Kasie Head had Case #13 and then had Case #19 replacing Mylinda Tov. Was this done when certain models went on vacation or on hiatus for a while?
