If Reba was on today, Van and Barbara Jean would wind up in bed together, Brock would be an amputee with a voice box, Kyra would be married to this airheaded “surfer type” dude, Van and Cheyenne’s daughter, Elizabeth, would probably be pregnant by now, making Reba a great-grandmother, Jake would be married to this lazy, blond bimbo, and Reba would most likely get married again to some younger man.

She even caught B.J. trying to make out with Brock right before she gave her the job. Reba is a jackass. How many 17 year old boys would marry their high school girlfriend only because she's pregnant and then be content with married life instead of opting for being free? What's wrong with co-parenting? IMO, their marriage is stupid and unnecessary. Let's not forget Brock is also an enabler like when he bought them a new used car for no reason. These kids are such lazy mooches. I wanted to smack them when they started getting food stamps.

My god, she’d put spoiling Cheyenne and Van before going to the doctors for a checkup.

Not only that, Cheyenne then called Kyra selfish for moving out because of it. I was like, "Of course YOU think that, Reba bends over backwards for you but hardly does anything for Kyra!"

All that I ask is that Cheyanne shows the growth again that we saw in her during the season five episodes when she decided to go towards the drug and alcohol counseling field. She only reverted back to being a word that I can't say during the final season.

I agree, I'd settle for any growth with Cheyenne. I'm willing to bet Kyra ended up doing well due to having to, because she didn't have the safety net that Cheyenne had.

Reba McEntire's itching to play Reba Nell Hart (née McKinney) again.

In a new interview with The Bobby Bones Show on Friday, McEntire revealed she's been hard at work trying to put together a reboot of her Emmy-nominated sitcom Reba, which ran for six seasons on The WB and The CW from 2001 to 2007.

"We've really been trying hard to do a reboot of the Reba show," the 67-year-old country icon told the iHeartRadio host. "I really want to work with the people that I got to work with during that six and a half years."

McEntire then spoke of the series' cast, which also included Christopher Rich as Reba's ex-husband Brock Enroll Hart and Melissa Peterman as his new girlfriend-turned-wife Barbra Jean Hart (née Booker). "It was fun, the cast the crew everybody we got to work with and play with, they were wonderful people," she said. "We wanted to get back together like a reunion and have fun, so hopefully that will happen one day."

She's not the only Reba cast member calling for the show to be resurrected. In February, actress JoAnna Garcia Swisher — who played Reba's oldest daughter Cheyenne Montgomery (née Hart) — spoke about working with McEntire and the idea of rebooting the beloved series in an interview on The Art of Kindness podcast.

"She's so powerful because she walks the walk. I get so excited when people ask me how she is. I'll happily go on glowingly about this woman. She's so strong even in uncertain moments, and she's super grateful and gracious and kind," Swisher, 42, told the outlet. "I really wouldn't take her in a dogfight. Don't underestimate her. She's so strong. But I think she would win that dogfight not by beating the crap out of you. She would [with], you know, love. She's just a really special human."

On the topic of bringing back Reba, Swisher said at the time, "Are you kidding me? We'd love to do [a reboot]!"

Reba McEntire Shares Update on "Reba" Revival

Reba McEntire is staying booked and busy in 2022, with the upcoming release of her Lifetime film The Hammer, shooting underway on ABC’s "Big Sky", and a concert tour kicking off this fall.

What this means is that a revival of her popular series "Reba" will have to wait, although, she says, it’s a project she would love to explore.




“So many obstacles,” McEntire told Deadline about what’s keeping the revival from happening.

“The TV business changes so much that sometimes reboots are hot and then they’re not. Plus getting everyone scheduled together is also hard. Steve Howie is very busy, and so is Joanna Garcia. Mellisa [Peterman] is doing wonderful and here we are making a movie together. I guess timing and schedule will dictate that in the future.”




With no scripts written as of yet, McEntire could create a role for her boyfriend Rex Linn, her The Hammer and "Big Sky" co-star. Linn, who joined McEntire for this interview, is all in.

“We can write something in for him. The gardener?” McEntire shared when asked if there could be a role for Linn in the revival.

Linn replied, “I’m a good gardener. I can play the gardener who is always outside and out of focus while Reba’s talking—every episode.”




As McEntire noted, soon fans will be able to see her reunite with "Reba" co-star Peterman who plays her sister in the Lifetime film based on the life of traveling circuit judge Kim Wanker via the fictional Kim Wheeler (McEntire).
