View Full Version : Favorite Bayside Teacher?
Which teacher character is your favorite or you think is the funniest? Note I said "Bayside" teacher. So I don't want any answers from the College Year, New Class, the original Disney show. Just the original show from 1989 to 1993.
I am not really sure. I thought the deadpan Mr. Tuttle was funny. Also the hearing impaird Miss or Mrs. (depending on episode) Simpson was funny. Also the teacher who appears in the begining of the "Bellding Boys" episode is funny particular the scene when he is rapping.
Will and Grace Fanatic 07-24-2002, 11:17 PM I think Mrs. Simpson is my favorite Bayside teacher. Some of the things she would think the students were saying were funny.

SNLROCKS 07-30-2002, 10:23 PM I don't know if this would count but I liked the Mr. Belding's brother as the teacher in that one episode about Mr. Belding's brother being the sub for Bayside. I also liked Mr. Dewey.

I don't know why, but they always showed them dressing up for Phys. Ed. In my high school, the basketball, football, and other coaches used to be gym teachers as well, so maybe the coaches from "Hold Me Tight," and "Running Zack" were also gym teachers.
I just realized that Miss Wentworth was the only normal teacher that the gang had at Bayside. However, she's not my favorite. Mr. Tuttle all the way!!!

Finer Feelings 01-29-2004, 07:14 AM How about Mr. Testaverdi how ever he spelled his name Yes, he was great. If it weren't for him we wouldn't have got the scene with Jessie's smoking pencil. That was too cool, I wish they'd done that more but I read the effects needed were too expensive.
I think my favourite teacher is also Mrs Simpson. And the substitute one that replaced her for an episode...Tony Crane, all the girls fancied him.
katiekat 03-04-2004, 09:02 PM I love Mr. Dewey! He's hilarious... whoever the Home Ec class teacher was, loved her too. They have Kelly's baby brother in that episode. She reminds me of a teacher I had.
hughpuppies 03-04-2004, 11:38 PM The home ec teacher's real name is Patrika Darbo, she played on Step by Step the first season and she played on a few episodes of Roseanne, she played on a soap opera Days of our lives from 1998-2003 as Nancy Wesley she also played roseanne Arnold(Barr) when they made a life story of her. She also played in a lot of other shows a guest appearance or as just a background person in an episode or 2. in 1999 she was voted one of Hollywoods most sexiest ladies.

She was even on an episode of The Other Half with Mario and mentioned the fact that she played his teacher on SBTB!
She's really sweet and I love seeing her on TV. Especially on my FAVE and only soap, Days of our Lives...I hope she returns soon!!!

She was played by a much older woman. I don't know her name.
