Do you consider the show a dramedy?
I would say it is a serious comedy rather than a dramedy. There isn't a particular drama except the two death episodes in season 2 and 5. Facts becomes serious when the story requires that but comedy is its foundation. What's your opinion?

I don't see it as a dramedy. It was a sitcom that "tackled issues," some which could be heavy, but as a series, overall the comedy was higher.

I tend to think of "dramedies" as more often hour-long shows, with no laughter (no studio audience, and no canned laughs) that have some good comedy mixed with the drama.

Aside from the good comedy, it's the exact opposite of Facts

Depends on what era. Season 2 and 3 had some dramedy episodes. It turned into corny comedy later on in the series.

I wouldn't call it a dramedy. It's a sitcom, albeit one with some hard-hitting episodes for the first half a decade or so.

The first half of the series, especially the cafeteria years, has real drama stories but comedy is always present. It becomes corny after they open "Over Our Heads"

I agree, it's a good mixture of comedy and drama......more comedy than drama
