I think the Window Seat is the best Seat on a Plane. You get to look at the views and don't have to deal with being nudged on both sides like the Middle Seat or risk constantly being bumped into or getting stuff spilled on you like the Aisle seat. Think about it. When someone spills coffee while walking around the plane, the Aisle Person is the person most likely to get hit by that coffee spill. You as the Window Seat are most likely NOT going to get any coffee spilled on you and you get to watch the clouds in peace. :)

Well, I flew a lot for business and pleasure and after so many yrs loved the aisle seat, and never had anything spilled on me. And could get up and walk or use the lavatory very easy as I didn't have to try to get over other people. So that's my choice. Aisle.

Hmm. Now that you mention it, The Window Seat has to pass TWO People when they need to use the bathroom and then come back. At least the Middle Seat only has to pass the aisle seat to use the bathroom and come back. The Aisle seat doesn't have to pass anyone. He still runs the risk of having drinks spilled on him and getting bumped by people who are walking around on the plane...

I used to want the window seat. Now it's the aisle seat. But I do love the window seat in first class.

Hmm. The Window Seat is good for views but the Aisle seat has the most leeway for going to bathroom and back.

About Seats on Airplane, a Woman said she prebooked and paid for an Aisle Seat months prior to the Flight. Lo and behold, when she went to the Seat she paid for, a Random Child was sitting in the Seat she paid for months before the Flight. Of course, she complained about some random Child sitting in her Seat she paid for months prior. The Flight Attendant said the Random Child needed to be seated near her Mother, so that's why the Random Child ended up in her Seat. The Flight Attendant said they put the Victim in a new Section. This New Section was a Middle Seat in between two large guys and she had the Stomach Flu. Ouch. Worst Seat ever for someone who will constantly be needing the bathroom. After her Flight, she complained to the Airline Corporate about 1, her Aisle Seat she paid for months before being suddenly given to a Random Child without her acknowledgement and she had no idea until she saw this Random Child sitting in her Seat and 2 being forced to go to a Middle Aisle between two large men when she had the Stomach Flu. She was given 7500 Miles for these unfair inconveniences. She said she was satisfied with the 7500 Miles.

About the Woman whose Aisle Seat was suddenly given away to some random Child she didn't know, so that her Mother could sit near her, I don't get why the Airline didn't automatically get her another Aisle Seat. That would have been the logical thing to do after suddenly giving her seat away to a Random Child she didn't know.

It's truly amazing how frequently I've encountered some obnoxious mother that has managed to convince themselves that the constitutional rights of their rugrats have priority over my own.
Glad your friend was satisfied with the free miles. Not sure I would have been so charitable
I used to prefer window, but for pretty much the same reasons others have given, I have grown to prefer aisle.

She wasn't my Friend, just a Random Poster on a Website.
