Frasier, now retired, is seen sitting in his apartment watching TV when the phone rings.

Roz, Frasier's wife, is listening to music and goes to pick it up.

Roz: Hi. This is Roz.

Ann: It's me, Ann Hodges.

Roz: Hi Ann. May I ask why you are calling?

Ann Hodges: I would like to speak to Frasier please.

Roz: Okay. I will let him know.

Roz: Frasier, someone on the other line would like to talk to you.

Roz then goes back to listening to her music.

Frasier: Hello. Who is this?

Ann Hodges: Hi Frasier. It's Ann. Remember me?

Frasier: Of course I remember you. How have you been?

Ann: I'm doing well, but I have been very busy lately with practicing my trumpet.

Frasier: Are you still an insurance agent Ann?

Ann: Not anymore. I've decided to become a full-time trumpet player instead.

Frasier: That's excellent, and I see that you've come a long way since I last heard you just practicing the scales.

Ann: Anyway, the reason why I called you is because I have a concert coming up and I would like to invite you and Roz to it.

Frasier: I would love to go with Roz.

Ann: Great! I don't have a lot of details yet, but I will call you when I have more information.

Frasier: Okay then. It was nice talking to you Ann.

Ann: Nice talking to you too Frasier. Goodbye.

Frasier: Goodbye Ann.

Ann then hangs up the phone.

Roz: It was nice to hear from Ann Hodges again.

Frasier: I agree.

Roz: I was wondering when she would call because I haven't heard from her in years and she's one of my good friends as well.

Frasier: When was the last time you talked to her?

Roz: 18 years ago. I figured that she was still an insurance agent, so I was surprised to find out that she went back to her music career.

Frasier: I'm going to see Niles and Daphne and tell them the news.

Roz: Okay. I'm going back to work now, but I'm sure they'll want to hear the news.

Frasier then leaves.
