I love discovering singers and bands when I listen to music in the mornings and one band I discovered today was the band The Seekers and they were very popular in the 60's and when I listened to them I found their songs so cute and entertaining with cute lyrics. The Seekers were best known for the song Georgy Girl that was the theme to a movie of the same name and the song I'll Never Find Another You. The Seekers also are linked to commercials and I'd Like To Teach The World To Sing was used in a Coca-Cola commercial and Mattel used the song Georgy Girl for the Barbie commercials in 1982 with a parody jingle titled Barbie Girl "not the Aqua hit song". It is surprising that you don't see bands today sing songs like The Seekers and if you ever get the chance buy a The Seekers album and you'll fall in love
