It's hard to believe, but it has only been a short time since CHCH TV in Hamilton, Ont., a small regional channel out of Southern Ontario that is now available to all Canadians and a few lucky folks in the US near the Buffalo/Niagara Falls area, has decided to spice up their previously dull daytime programming with some of the best and most loved retro series from the 50s to the 80s beginning at 10:00 am and running until 6:00 pm. That strategy has proven to work very well as the programming has grown in the past couple of years in both variety and popularity, which has seen it become a serious alternative to Antenna, Me, Decades, and other popular US nostalgia channels. To give you an idea of how impressive this is, I have reached into the past and pulled out all the lineups I could find from when the retro experiment first started right up to today.
