If Fuller House were to get picked up again by Netflix or another network, would you like to see John Posey or another actor play Danny Tanner?

John Posey was the original actor who played Danny Tanner on the pilot episode of Full House before Bob Saget took over the role to play Danny Tanner. Bob Saget was the first choice to play Danny Tanner but when he was unavailable due to being in another project, they picked John Posey who was the second choice. After the pilot episode was shot with John Posey, Bob Saget became available and then they reshot the pilot episode with Bob Saget.

Anyone have ideas who could play Danny Tanner if Fuller House resumes? I guess John Posey is an option since he played the part.

Maybe cast him as his brother.

A better question in my mind would be had Fuller House lasted a few more seasons, then would Lori Loughlin had been allowed to come back? The producers were forced into a pickle when the college admissions scandal broke out and Lori couldn't be on the show anymore since she had bigger things to worry about.

But after the controversy died down and Lori's legal issues had gotten straightened out, would the producers have been more easily inclined to invite her back?

I mean I read a comment (https://officialfan.proboards.com/thread/618046/weird-absences-family-events-on) elsewhere about how odd it seemed that Becky would be absent for the weddings of DJ, Stephanie, and Kimmy.

To me, they shouldn't bother with trying to get the show going again if the thought has ever crossed the minds of the powers that be that is. The resurrection was a success, and in my opinion, that should be good enough.

I think that the general feeling is what John Posey brought to the table (https://therealfullhousereviewed.wordpress.com/2010/08/12/bonus-entry-season-1-episode-0-unaired-pilot/) wasn't exactly bad but it was a different type of energy and flavor than what Bob Saget would ultimately bring. It just seemed that John's Danny came across more like a second version of Joey (i.e. kind of a manic, goofy, man-child) instead of the calm, slightly nerdy yet mature, voice of reason as seen Bob's interpretation.
