I was just trying to go through the Desktop photo thread but my computer is a bit slow and can't download it all. I'd like to know how to post a picture of my desktop for you all to see :) If you could please let me know in this thread, which I can open and read, I'd apprecaite it :)

Hmm, both. I might be able to figure out how to add it to my post but I don't know how to create the actual picture.

okey dokey :) while at your desktop, hit the "print screen" key (to the right of your F-keys) and then open your photo editing program and paste it onto a blank page. tweak it if you'd like...brightness, sharpness, whatever...then give it a name and save it.

then when ready to post, at the bottom before you hit "submit" there's a blank field that says "browse" to the right of it. click browse and it will gain you access to your files. find your desktop jpg you just created and click it so the path appears in the empty field. now you're ready to submit, and it should appear in your post :D

I get a big fat nothing when I hit that key. Dumb computer.

I'll see if I can find the picture on my hard drive, it's my desktop, it just doesn't show my little desk icons (not that it matters but I'm annoyed that I can't do it right).

Nevermind I cant even find the pictures right nw. I'll keep looking

nothin will happen when you hit the button. just hit and then open paint. go to edit, and then paste. then just save and post.

I know this is quite a few pages back, but I know how you change yours... you go to the system prefs and you click desktop and you take whatever picture you want and drag it into there.... I'm almost postive that's what you do.

Actually I call it Morpheus - My Shared Folder cuz I had morpheus on my computer previously before it crashed.....I hate the Kazaa Shared Folder cuz whenever I had my music in there pop up ads came up when I was playing music from Windows Media Player!

It's just my "Rockapella Goodness" pic centered, but with "ROCKAPELLA" on top and "GOODNESS" below, with the icons in a nice neat little row.

That's okay all I need to install desktop themes like my favorite that came with 95/98 version of Windows, 'The 60s' theme is to download or find my dad's cd with Microsoft Plus.
