I noticed during my recordings of "Rawhide" that H&I has finally done it: they have resorted to doing what every other network has been doing, which is squishing the credits to make room for another promo or commercial. H&I still shows the other half of the credits unaffected, but the first half or so is squished. I'm not sure if MeTV has been affected by this or not. This is something that irks me to no end.

and since ME TV and H&I are sister channels I hope ME TV won't start doing it too.

My guess is that MeTV does OK with their ad time, but you never know. They might decide they need the promo time.

Decades already does credit crunches but they don't air videos just an enlarged image of the next show that's airing. H&I is following suit. I'm not going to be surprised if MeTV does it someday as well. It is Weigel's most watched channel after all.

So far it looks like MeTV isn’t crunching but I did see H&I’s crunch and it’s not pretty. Credits squeezed to a small box in the lower left corner while an ad plays in a much larger space and the music is muted so the ad’s audio can play. Not that it matters because I never watched H&I anyway because none of the shows appealed to me. Start is also owned by Weigel and I don’t know if they will do this or not.
