As much as I admire the theme song, the opening theme credits to any show like L&S better be good. They were not bad. The theme credits should been in Chicago because Chicago was getting more attention than New York and other U.S. cities. Another thing is that Perfect Strangers was just like L&S. The only big thing is that PS involved two guys instead of two ladies. Just think about it. Chicago is actually just as popular as N.Y.C. There are actually more landmarks that could have been in L&S if it were to be in Chicago like the Sears Tower, Wrigley Field, Lake Shore Drive,etc. What street do you think L&S could have been filmed if it were in Chicago? My guess would be just like Perfect Strangers' apartment. Somewhere East of Halsted around Irving Park Road.

Im a little confused with the whole Chicago thing. They lived in Milwaukee--not far from Chicago. Also, in a 2parter episode the girls did visit NYC. Most of the scripts werent based on cities, just their lives..and a few times they did go to Chicago.

Thanks for contributing to this topic.=) I saw most of L&S and it was good. I do remember seeing one or two Chicago episodes. I will have to check out the episode guide to find out about the Chicago episodes.

By the way, it was episode 72 where I believe Laverne,(or was it Shirley) auditions for West Side Story in Chicago. Hey, do you know where she auditioned. I think it was somewhere downtown.
