Here are my rankings. Keep in mind I like all four seasons so far, but here's the order I'd put them:

1. Season 4 - Contained all of the character development I was hoping to see in pretty much every character except one (it's still elusive for Sam but maybe in S5 if Daniel and Amanda do with her what they did with Anthony, plus make her get a job). The only part I could have done without is Daniel and Johnny's stupid point fight at the mid-point of the season. They both need to realize they are role models to this new generation of students, and their fighting has been encouraging Sam's bully behavior towards Tory.

2. Season 1 - The perfect springboard for this series. I loved Miguel and Johnny's meeting each other and growing with each other as sensei and student. Seeing Miguel overcome his bullies and become a strong fighter and was another plus.

3. Season 3 - The dojo rivalry in the Valley gets more intense, but it was nice to see Daniel reconnect with Chozen in such a positive way, as well as Kumiko and Yuna. We also see just how much Miguel truly values Johnny as his teacher, which is a big part in his injury recovery.

4. Season 2 - I suppose it was somewhat nice seeing a look into the life Kreese lived after losing the original dojo, but what can you count on being true in his story due to being known for deception? I believe he was telling the truth about his living situation after seeing the seasons afterwards. A key glimpse we see in the final episode is Tory and Robby's deep mindset which should be remembered going forward.
